PUNT: The Irish and the NFL
A 2025 RTÉ documentary tracking Irish athletes — including GAA stars Rory Beggan, Mark Jackson, and Charlie Smyth — as they train for professional NFL kicking positions. The film charts a remarkable surge in Irish talent transitioning to American football, driven by the elite ball-striking abilities developed through Gaelic football and rugby.

Dublin International Film Festival — 3 Years Running
Returning for a third consecutive year as the festival’s on-site videographer. Eleven days straight — shooting premieres, red carpets, Q&As and packed-house screenings from morning to night, then going straight into the edit to deliver a polished highlight video before the next day starts. No handoff, no second shooter, no waiting. One person, camera in hand all day, timeline open all night.

Hi, I’m Lee.
I’ve been shooting professionally for the best part of a decade, self-taught on the ground before formalising it with a Master’s in Documentary Filmmaking at the University of Sussex. That mix of instinct and craft is what I bring to every job.
Events are my bread and butter — I’m comfortable in fast, high-pressure environments where you only get one shot and the edit is due before sunrise. Three consecutive years at the Dublin International Film Festival will do that to you. But my real passion is long-form storytelling. PUNT, my 2025 RTÉ documentary, was a step in that direction — and I’m currently developing my next documentary project.
I’m a Sony shooter, though I’m equally at home with other camera systems. Based in Ireland, available nationwide — and no stranger to getting on a plane when the work calls for it.
